Version: adopt the new 3-part release-number format with a pre-release/internal suffix, per the user -- was 'Rev.
SDP/MultiArch/2026.1/33441 (...)', now 'Rev. SDP/MultiArch/2026.1.0.BETA/33441 (...)'.
Clarity benefit: the format now directly shows which patch level you're on (the '.0' here) without needing to look up the changelist to figure it out, and the 'BETA' suffix makes this rehearsal build impossible to mistake for a real release. Verified safe to make this change now that compare_versions() (upgrade.sh/sdp_upgrade.sh, change 33502/33503) does numeric-aware comparison rather than naive lexicographic comparison -- the old comparison would have misclassified this exact transition as a downgrade.
For the real GA on 2026-09-08, this'll naturally be 'Rev. SDP/MultiArch/2026.1.0/<real-CL> (...)' (no BETA suffix) when Step 15 (Update SDP Version File) is run for real, entering '2026.1.0' as the major version at that time -- no code changes needed for that, this is purely a data/formatting decision for the ongoing rehearsal.
