Background

Peter has experience with this tool since 1997 with in-depth knowledge in all aspects of the Perforce SCM System. He performs consulting in customizing and adapting Perforce systems to customers specific needs. Workshops, training, analysis and streamlining are some examples of activities he performs on-site at customers. He has good knowledge of development processes and lifecycles.
Peter has worked in the computer industry since 1987 in many roles, including: hardware development (embedded systems) and software development, configuration management, education and consulting. He has experience in SCM and build environments on several hardware platforms and software environments. A subset includes most Unices and Windows platforms.

He has had exposure to other SCMs such as PVCS, CMS and ClearCase. Prefers to convert projects from other systems to Perforce.
