Over 12 years of experience in SCM on a variety of computing platforms, including Perforce, PVCS, and Sourcesafe, on Windows, and cross-platform solutions using Perforce on UNIX and Windows.
Extensive Perforce server administration experience on two of Perforce's largest installations. Google with over 4500 users and Symantec with over 3500 users.
Symantec's main server has approximately 3500 users, and over 1.8 Terabytes of data. The server is utilized worldwide 24x7, and handles over 1000 changelists a day.
Russell also managed Symantec's Configuration Management group from 1998 to 2004.
Training on the Capability Maturity Model through Learning Tree International.
Continuing education on Process Improvement.

Training
Russell has been providing monthly training to Symantec worldwide since 1998. He has gained extensive experience by providing this on-site training, as well as experience using Placeware to provide web based training in recent years.
Russell also teaches the Perforce three-day class at your company, and presents the same content as the public Perforce classes.
The on-site class is a terrific value: the content (slides, exercises) are the same as the public classes but you get a better deal by training entire departments or groups of employees on-site; AND if the class wants to spend a little more time discussing a specific topic from your organization, you have a Perforce Consulting Partner and Certified Trainer on site for immediate answers.
The standard class is three days, concentrating on either command-line or GUI usage. (This refers to which slides and hard-copy are provided; both interfaces can be used in the class.)
