Genesaver is a small virtual ecology in the form of a screensaver.
The "creatures" are steered around the screen by simple neural nets; successful creatures produce offspring that inherit slightly modified versions of their parent's behavior, so that... increasingly intelligent behavior evolves over time.

I highly recommend playing with Genesaver if you haven't @epu. You can lose an afternoon watching their little neural nets evolve.

Bind to source control with P4VS.
 So far so good.

Make zoom better -- zoom automatically adjusts to a minimum "pretty" value for the current... resolution (regardless of what's in settings), and zoom adjustment in screensaver mode scales with current zoom level. «
