This tool will:
Search linkedin, Facebook, Perforce forums (if API exists), stack overflow, twitter and google+, for all results containing the keyword "perforce" that are new since the last time it searched.

it will then format the results nicely with the url and related text and email them to me.

The tool will be written using Ruby on Rails, as that is what we are using for GitSwarm now.
We will store the tweets, etc in a database, so we can cache them and perhaps perform data analysis on them.

First we will search for all content from the sources above, then we will work to exclude ourselves (PerforceSoftware) from the twets.
We will then add functionality to work out if the tweet has been responded to at the time of collection and display this on our site.
