Neal is a principal with The Infrastructure Group. From his first job developing microcode simulators (chronicled as part of the 1983 Pulitzer prize winning "The Soul of a New Machine" by Tracy Kidder) to his past 5 years providing SCM consulting, Neal's career has focused on the tools and automation that make organizations more productive.
The Infrastructure Group was formed in 1999 to combine a wide breadth of talents and experience from several successful consulting firms. The Infrastructure Group provides a wide range of services and solutions for development environments. They specialize in source control, configuration management, build automation, and release engineering.
Our approach to infrastructure is to combine best practices with real world experience to produce efficient, reliable solutions. Recent clients have ranged in size from startup to Fortune 100. Projects have ranged in duration from a few weeks to a few years.
Neal has deployed Perforce at client sites since 1998. Clients using Perforce have ranged in size from 10 to over 200 users. Environments have included traditional application development, embedded system producers, and web site management running world-wide operations 24 x 7.
