Fixed issue with load_checkpoint.sh not clearing journal.NNN file when working on a standby (journalcopy) replica, which prevented replication from automatically starting.
 These files are now moved aside.

Removed undocumented edge processing logic determined to be unnecessary.

Minor doc improvements.
