The wiki and the Perforce Workshop itself both grant full read access to anonymous users. You do not need a registered account if you just want to download something from the Workshop, browse the wiki, or anything else that does not involve submitting additions or modifications.

When you are logged in to Perforce with your registered Workshop user ID, you will be able to submit files to your guest branch under the path "//guest/your_user_id/...". This directory will not be visible in the depot until after you have submitted files to it.
The ability to add and edit pages on the wiki is reserved for registered Workshop users. Once you have a registered Perforce Workshop account, you may log in to the wiki using the same user ID and password that you use to log in to the Perforce server.
Use the p4 passwd command to change your password.
